Check-in Luggage

You could divide the items you would like to bring into 5 main categories : Toiletries, Stationery, Food, Clothing, and Miscellaneous. Below is an example of items to bring :



Toiletries :

1. Toothbrush
2. Toothpaste
3. Hair shampoo
4. Body shampoo
5. Facial cleanser 
6. Facial scrub
7. Cotton bud
8. Small packets of tissues
9. Comb 
10. Small mirror 
11. Shaver
12. Washing laundry net (For delicate clothing)
13. Pad
14. Body lotion
15. Face lotion
16. Lip balm 
17. Sunblock
18. Deodorant
19. Laundry bag (To carry clothes from your room to the laundry room) 

Stationery :

1. Pen ( Black, Blue, Red or whatever colours you want to bring)
2. Paper
3. Calculator
4. Permanent marker
5. Stapler + refill
6. Paper clips
7. Highlighter
8. Glue
9. File
10. DVD / CD (For assignments)

Food :

1. Dry spices (E.g curry powder)
2. Bak Kut Teh powder
3. Tupperware 
4. Few rubber bands + plastic bags
5. Instant noodles
6. Peppers (My friend told me that the peppers sold there is nothing like what we get here)
7. Herbs

For food wise, we are allowed to bring what is needed for individual use. It will be safer to bring only dried goods. Liquid products are not encouraged. 

Clothing :

1. Sandals
2. Heels (For girls) @ Shoes (For guys)
3. Formal wear
4. Leisure wear (For you to wear within your hostel)
5. Towel
6. Socks
7. Jeans
8. Dresses
9. T-shirts 
10. Under garments 

Since SHU only provides us with 1 token for laundry and 1 for drying, so most probably most of us will only get to do our laundries once a week. So it will be best that we arrange clothing for 9 or 10 days just in case.

Miscellaneous :

1. Hanger (For clothes)
2. Watch
3. Nail clipper
4. Hp charger (Ipod charger, Mp3 charger, Ipad charger, whatever charger~~~)
5. Plaster
6. Umbrella @ Raincoat
7. Hand sanitizer
8. Sewing pouch
9. Recycle bags (They don't use plastic bags there anymore, so bring your own green bags)
10. Torchlight
11. Pillow
12. Hair dryer
